Bat researcher and performing artist... This comedy ecologist moves effortlessly between science and theatre. With a sharp eye and a generous dose of humor, Marlot exposes the absurdities of everyday life or is writing songs and sketches the only way Marlot can cope with reality? A blend of ecological insight and stage power that manages to both provoke and entertain the audience.

Marlot takes lessons at Studio Selma Susanna in Amsterdam, a training institute for cabaret.
Inspiration comes from genuine wonder and societal doubts. Can we better understand the illogical things in this world, or will we disrupt the logical ones?... The audience laughs, thinks, frowns, laughs again and writes things like:
"Funny, well-thought-out jokes and socially critical."
"Physically and sound-wise very strong."
"Authentic." (We still don't know if that was a compliment, but we'll take it.)
Marlot stays true to themselves, and you’re welcome to be part of it.
